MY FIRST COMMISSIONED PIECE
Created from another person's vision, interpreted through my hands.
This piece challenged me to step outside my usual style-to work with restraint, approach the canvas differently, and trust a process different from my own. In doing so, I discovered something new in my art, too.

The Thread Between
Sometimes I begin a piece with an idea.
Sometimes I begin with a pile of forgotten things buried in the bottom of a drawer or thrift store bin.
With this piece, it was definitely the second.
I found a discarded canvas waiting for another chance. Then I gathered old papers, mirrors, flowers, and even a small vintage clock. I moved things around more times than I can count-and honestly, that's the part I love. Some pieces stayed. Others were tucked away for another time. And somewhere along the way, I realized it had been quietly revealing it's title, too.
